SolidWorks SimulationDatasheet

SolidWorks Simulation can help speed up your product development time, by quickly identifying weak points and failure modes in your early product design. You can then optimize your parts for cost, by shaving unnecessary material, and eliminate costly recalls and redesigns by virtual testing. This reduces your need for expensive physical prototypes to do costly failure testing.

See how stress, strain, and displacement are distributed through your parts and assemblies, and visualize how your parts interact under loads to avoid possible problems.

The easy to use SolidWorks Simulation interface will make analysis simple for every engineer. The analysis wizard can take the newest users through creating a robust mesh, applying loads and restraints, and interpreting results on easy to read 3D contour plots.

With SolidWorks Simulation Professional you can add thermal, frequency, buckling, and fatigue analysis to your toolbox, as well as automated design optimization and drop test simulation.

Need to do dynamic analysis? Do you use non-linear or composite materials? SolidWorks Simulation Premium has all the tools you will need to get a good overview of how your designs will respond.

SolidWorks Flow SimulationDatasheet

SolidWorks Flow Simulation is a comprehensive fluid modeling package that can be integrated directly inside of SolidWorks CAD software. You can study heat transfer or forces on immersed items like airfoils or solids surrounding flow, such as piping systems. The fluid volume is automatically generated by your SolidWorks geometry, and parametrically updates when you make changes to your parts or assemblies

You can model internal and external flow as well as transient and turbulent conditions. Choose compressible, incompressible, or non-Newtonian liquids such as air, fuel, blood, or hot melted plastic.

Simulate real world operating conditions by specifying inlet velocity, pressure, mass or volume flow rates. For a complete picture, add heat sources or model convective cooling and solar radiation. You can even track the path of a particle suspended in the flow path.

SolidWorks Flow Simulation will have you solving problems you never thought possible in record time, and provides a clear visual means to share and interpret your results.

MoldflowDatasheet

The Moldflow Part Adviser™ module is the ideal tool to quickly check the manufacturability of your plastic part early in the design process when the cost of change is least. You can get rapid feedback on how modifications to wall thickness, gate locations, material or geometry will affect the filling pattern and pressure and temperature distributions in the part cavity. The analysis results and detailed design advice can be used to determine the optimum part thickness and gate locations as well as to identify and eliminate cosmetic issues such as weld lines, air traps and sink marks.

The Moldflow Mold Adviser™ module extends the capabilities of the Moldflow Part Adviser to allow you to create and simulate plastic flow through single cavity, multi-cavity and family olds. Users can optimize gate type, size and location as well as runner layout, size and cross-sectional shape. Analysis results include cycle time, clamp tonnage, and shot size, all of which help the design-to-manufacturing team size the injection molding machine, minimize cycle times and reduce manufacturing waste. Optional Moldflow Mold Adviser add-on modules allow users to simulate more phases of the injection molding process and evaluate molded part performance and cooling circuit design.

Moldflow can eliminate costly tooling iterations, and ensure success the fist time speeding up your design process and reducing overall cost.
