Using Additive Fabrication to Grow a Business

Join us for a webinar featuring Wendy Steele, co-founder of Tape Wrangler Company as she tells how she & husband Rick introduced additive manufacturing into their product design and manufacturing process - and watched their business soar.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • How iterative prototyping can get the right product to market - faster
  • How bringing prototyping in-house can save time and money
  • How to cost-reduce manufacturing with additive fabrication
  • How to build disposable tooling for short-run production

Using DriveWorks for Electronic Order Processing - Even If You Don't Automate SolidWorks Files

Configure custom products quickly & easily and generate the electronic order processing documentation that you need. You will see how DriveWorks can be used even without SolidWorks files to be extended to non-technical staff to generate the "other" documentation that is part of the extended Engineering Team.

Contact Problems in SolidWorks Simulation

FEA analysis of single parts is typically a straight-forward process. However, it is often necessary to include multiple parts in the analysis in order to study the response of mechanisms, structures, and other complex assemblies. The process of establishing contact between the various components can range from quick and easy to a more lengthy or difficult task. The job of defining contacts can become more daunting when dealing with mixed meshes where different element types are involved.

Please join TriMech as we discuss contact in SolidWorks Simulation. We will cover the different types of contact, how they are defined, and techniques used in creating contact between components of the same and different type (mesh.) We will also discuss tips on handling difficult contact problems and things to consider when running any contact problem.
