The Dimension series of 3-D Printers are bringing rapid prototyping right into the office, with models starting at around $20,000. You can print your designs and parts out of durable ABS plastic using either Breakaway Support Technology (BST) or the versatile Soluble Support Technology (SST). The ABS plastic used by Dimension proprietary FDM technology is the most durable, functional and practical RP material available. Finally, there is a rapid prototype you can really get your hands on.
